As promised, I’m kicking off Game File’s second sale, here at the start of February.

From now through February 11, you can sign up for a one-year subscription to Game File for just $80. That’s down from the regular rate of $100/year, and it’s far less than the $120 you’ll pay if you maintain a monthly sub for a full year.

I recently wrote about Game File’s first year: what went well, what made me nervous, and so on.

It was a pretty good year, as I was able to modestly surpass my first-year subscriber goals. But I have no idea how year two will go, as this is the first business—subscription or otherwise—that I’ve ever run.

My plan for 2025 is to keep working hard to provide Game File readers with coverage of the business and culture of video games that’s unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. My one-year post broke down many of the scoops, exclusive interviews, investigative reports and more that I’m most proud of.
