Sony floated the idea of American-made PlayStation 5 consoles today, during a public briefing with investors in Japan. But such a measure sounds like it has a remote chance of happening.
Answering a question about how the company will deal with the cost of U.S. imposed tariffs, company CEO Hiroki Totoki said that making consoles “locally” and not having to be hit with export fees “would be an efficient strategy.”
