On the first Friday of every month, the U.S. government releases new job numbers, including the widely publicized unemployment rate. Today, it ticked up to 3.9%, about where it’s been since August.

But what about in gaming, where layoffs have been piling up?

The short version: we don’t know.

Slightly longer version: it’s complicated, and looks to be higher, as high as 9% according to one expert.
