I don't know how to take these statements projecting positivity from the various studios affected, such as predicting growth for ESO here or id saying they are staffed at pre-doom levels and capable of continuing the id tech they're known for. Are these statements made voluntarily? It's it simple professionalism on the part of the leads/directors? Who are they for? Gamers? Investors? Xbox executives?
I'm just remembering how many people insisted across forums and subreddits that Microsoft's buyouts of publishers were necessary for competition and that developers would benefit as a whole. I also see how almost none of those people who haunted the same spaces I still frequent have said NOTHING since ABK went down.
