25% off (not 75% off !): Game File's Summer Sale!
Correcting my earlier offer. Sorry for that typo!
CORRECTION: Folks, I got too excited and said the sale was 75% off. It’s 25% off. I’ve never posted a sale before. Sorry for the confusion!!
I knew from day one that I’d eventually offer a sale on Game File subscriptions, but when? How about…right now.
Instead of $100 for an annual sub, you can currently get one for $75. That’s little more than $6/month. Offer expires August 12.
If you’re paying for my stuff, you’re paying for original games journalism (and dispatches about my kids’ gaming habits!). Here are some of my favorite premium Game File posts, all exclusives.

I’m not used to asking for money for my work. For nearly two decades, anyone on the planet could read my work—at Kotaku, Axios, MTV News, The New York Times—for free, as long as they could connect online. Now you need to pay, for at least some of it.
I know times are tough for lots of people, and I totally get that you might not be able to pay the regular rate or even the discounted rate. Even a free sign-up helps, and I will continue to offer one post a week for free.
And, needless to say, I’m going to continue to work hard to provide all Game File subscribers as much original reporting about games that I can muster. Plus, impressions of the most interesting games I’m playing. I have a long list of stories I’m excited to write…
I deeply appreciate any support you’re able to provide. Thank you!
